Muscle Memory explores the visual identity of Feeble Little Horse through translating the band’s raw blend of sounds into a tactile album package. Using airbrushed typography and image making to distinguish between instinct and memory, derived from the considered and nostalgic sounds. Patterns of self-defense, desire, and anxiety build up actions learned so deeply that they build identity without intention. This project explored highly considered color and texture compositions to convey physical and emotional sensations extended by the sound.
